A rocket fired from Lebanon struck a football pitch and killed at least 12 young people in the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights on Saturday, Israel’s army said, claiming the rocket was fired by Hezbollah, who denied any connection to the incident. Also on Saturday, an Israeli air strike hit a school housing a field hospital in central Gaza that it said was hiding militants, killing at least 30 people and wounding more than 100, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-run territory.
