Following Monday’s 100-94 California Classic Summer League win vs. the Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings sophomore Keegan Murray told the media that he’s been working on finding different ways to score (29 points/1 rebound/2 steals/8-17 FG/3-9 3-PT/10-11 FT).
(via Sacramento Kings):
Antonio Harvey: “Keegan, it seemed like more of an emphasis of you going downhill, charging at the basket offensively. Is that something you’ve been working on?”
Murray: “Yeah. I feel like a lot of the season I was kinda just a catch-and-shoot three-point shooter, and I want to kinda be a guy that can get a basket if we need it. So just figuring out different ways I can score, different moves, and at this point, it’s trial and error. So that’s just kinda my mindset going into these games.”
