A 26-year-old feline in south-east London has set a brand new Guinness World Document of being the world’s oldest residing cat.
Flossie was confirmed because the oldest cat by Guinness World Data, which stated she had a human equal age of 120 years outdated, the BBC reported on Thursday.
The cat was rehomed by Cats Safety to her new proprietor Vicki Inexperienced who described Flossie as “a tremendous cat”.
Guinness World Data stated Flossie, who was born in 1995, had been residing in a colony of cats close to a Merseyside hospital when two employees took pity on them and every homed a cat.

Flossie lived along with her first proprietor, a girl for 10 years till she died. She was then taken in by her sister, who stored her for 14 years till she too handed away.
After that, for the following three years, Flossie lived with the sister’s son, till he handed her to Cats Safety owing to a private scenario.
Now with Inexperienced, who has expertise in caring for older cats, Flossie has discovered her new dwelling.
